Chandrayaan-2: The India's Movement towards Moon

ISRO CHANDRAYAAN-2 is in highlight again, they are in verse to launch the Chandrayaan-2 and the time has come today to witness all the work done by our scientist. The one of the highly impossible mission is been ready to take a launch from the sriharikota on the GSLV MKIII, with mission life of one year,will orbit around the moon at 100km altitude.

Chandrayaan-2 Lander to be the second at the moon's south pole, Vikram carrying Pragyan is expected to make a landing on the lunar surface on Sept 6 to Sept 7 on a high plain between two craters Manzinus C & Simpelius N - to be only the second to explore the environs of the Moon's South Pole after China's Chang'e-4.

What is it carrying?
Lander, Carrying the robotic cover will seperate from orbiter and soft land between two craters, Manzinus C & Simpelius N.

What is the cost?
The cost for the CHANDRAYAAN-2 is something around INR 978 Crores Approx

What does it function?
During the Strapons functioning phase the two clustered Vikas liquid Engines of L110 Liquid core booster will ignite.


How much does it weigh?
It is approximately around 2310Kg weighs, 450 Power Generation.

Mission Life?
One Lunar Day (14 Earth Days, Depending on landing sites)
